Update Posted on 2014-05-04 by Jonathan Schulz

Hello, this is just an update on the happenings in my life.

So, last month was a HUGE month for me in more than one sense of the word. It was huge in that it was busy busy busy, but it was also huge in that I got eight (that's right, eight!) PAYING jobs as the new videographer for my church. I hope this is an explanation of why my lessons have been delayed. I have been trying to keep you all up to date by posting about my jobs on this blog, but I don't think I have been adequately describing my work load. My responsibilities included: Scheduling "actors (or interviewees, depending on the video)", filming, and editing all by myself. Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way complaining, I'm just (hopefully) painting a better picture of what my last month has looked like why I have been drifting off of the radar. I had a one month deadline for all of those videos, it was my first project (the eight different videos were all part of the same project) and all of that was piled on top of my janitor duties. It was a stressful/satisfying month. Oh yeah, I also had to move into a new place because my old roommate is leaving the state.

So, that brings me to where I am now. All of last month's filming projects have been finished, and I am finally all moved into my new place. I have a couple of simple video projects lined up for this month and my regular janitor duties, but other than that, I am finally going to be able to work away at my remaining lessons now that everything has (kinda) settled (for now).

I hope this has been a decent explanation of my last month. I apologize about the delay in lessons, but this has been a huge month for me and a big opportunity for me to exercise my filming muscles with a lot (almost too much) of paying hands on work.
