Victor Cobb — North Carolina Film Connection
Victor Cobb was born in Kinston, North Carolina where he first discovered his love for film. Since his youth he has always had a great sense of imagination. Throughout the day, his mind would often drift in and out of dreams. He would often picture himself as a cop rushing through high speed traffic heading towards the scene of a crime, or as a ninja moving through the shadows patiently waiting for the moment to strike. Stories would frequently flood his mind out of thin air. When he became of age, he decided that he would pursue his dream of becoming an auteur in the film industry. But how he wondered, how could he afford to be a director; in a quest for knowledge he decided to enroll into college. In May 2011, he graduated Magna Cum Laude at Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Management Information Systems. But his new found degree came with new debt that he was pressured to pay right away, so he decided to work. His first job worked was with the Housing Authority of Winston- Salem in the Management Information Systems department as a PC Specialist June 2011- November 2011. Although this opportunity was great, Victor felt as if things weren't moving fast enough and so he researched other options. Victor became a new hire for Accenture as a Systems Integration Analyst on January 9, 2012. He would go on working for this company for two years, paying off his debts completely while saving up enough money to pursue his dreams. Today Mr. Cobb is now the founder of Banana Clip Productions, a production company that was once named The Aphiliate Network established in Alexandria, Va.
