This lesson was mostly about how to get your vision across to the cinematographer and production staff. Since I will be doing most of this myself except for audio and some camera work this was good knowledge to understand. The lesson explains a little about lighting that has been "beaten" into my head for i'm guessing over 40 hours during the program. My mentor is great at explaing how lighting and audio works. If I have a question, which I have many, we stop, and he explains untill I completely understand what he is saying. He does this by quizing me untill he gets the answer he wants to hear. He explained different lighting techniques for different scenes and how the mood of the scene depicts the lighting scheme. He also explained in great detail how a mic works, how it is recorded and the techniques used for hiding the boom poles and wires if they are used during filming. Great lesson, loved it!
