The majority of class was going over the re-vamped short story script and talking about certain elements of what we can make work, and some things they may pose a challenge how we will get done (in a good way). Mentor has officially shaken hands stated we are moving on to the next phase in our journey, a sort of pre-pre-production to getting the short film started. A ton of homework was given to begin the legwork; scouting locations, compiling a shopping list of props, put together Lookbooks, research into potential actors, character descriptions/breakdowns, check out stock footage and images available, daily viewing and re-writing script/Title/Logline/Synopsis, and start translating the story into storyboards.
Also want to look into Adobe suite of applications (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) to learn more about handy tools that can be used to create the final product (post production).
I've dug myself in a deep hole of work to be done in the coming weeks and months,... and I couldn't be happier.
