Daniel YarbroughMissouri Film Connection

eleventh lesson Posted on 2018-02-26 by Daniel Yarbrough

I would really have liked this chapter on line production to have actually been about line production. Other than a brief summary of what Line Production is and a link to a much more informative interview with an actual line producer the rest of this chapter was really just overblow conjecture trying to hammer home the rather obvious point that your film has to make money so you can keep making films. And while that is an important thing to know I sure would have rather gotten more details and examples of the actual work involved in Line Production.

On Monday February 12th I assisted Jon Trozzolo in a green screen shoot for automotive news network. I helped get the set and lights ready and watched him record the anchor piece. He then had me clean up the footage removing the flubs and outtakes in order to send them out for the show to edit them together for their broadcast.

Meanwhile I’ve made small progress on revision to my script and on February 13th I sent the pages I’ve gotten done to Rex Piano while I continue work on it.
